There are many ways you can be connected to the Pierce community. Take a look to see what fits your schedule.

  • Attend PTO meetings. All PTO meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month at 6:00 pm located in the staff room at Pierce.
  • Serve as a representative for the School Site Council. This is an elected position that is a two year commitment. The School Site Council has governance over the school's allocated funds.
  • Upload the free Parent Square App on your mobile device. This app is a great way to get any notifications from the district or school site. It is also a way to stay in touch with your child's teacher. It is a convenient way to maintain communication.
  • Volunteer in classrooms, for Student Clubs or in the library.
  • Participate in the Superintendent's Council. This meeting is held the second Thursday of each month at 9:00 am at various locations within the district.
  • Attend the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) meetings at the site and district level. These meetings allow parents of English Language learners to express thoughts, ideas or concerns regarding the English Language Development program at the school or at the district level.
  • Attend school events such as Family Nights, Basketball games (during the season), and Panther Pride assemblies.

If the list above doesn't work for you and you have a talent that you want to share with our learning community, please contact our office at (760) 499-1670 and set up an appointment with Mrs. Freese.
